painting animation interactive painting who is? what's new?

Painting on a computer is difficult. It doesn't give you the physical joy of creating huge gestures, of drilling holes in the image and threading string through it, of tying or screwing pieces of it together.

There's no texture, no smell, and you don't get your hands dirty at all. The scale is all wrong.
